James Gakumba, Rwanda I like our teachers very much, they are always friendly and welcoming. Also, their skill and experience is great. It is easy, a pleasure, to study here at Larkkulla. I don’t attend the English classes as I’m essentially a native speaker, but I also hear only good of our teacher in that subject from my class-mates.
The spirit of community is very special. It seems we are able of getting along well enough despite our varied origins – from Brazil to Cameroon, Morocco to Russia… I seem to have no problems in particular with anyone, being able of getting along with everyone easily enough. Living in a place with 30-something other people it is a wonder in itself that we are arguing so little…
As for the facilities here they are in my opinion good, we lack nothing. We have our own rooms, unlimited access to TV and the internet, and a lot more. What we sometimes long for with my class-mates is the feel of the big city, which is perhaps balanced by the peaceful feel of the country-side in a small town like this. And the food is delicious…

Olen Luxemburgista, äitini on suomalainen ja isäni brasilialainen. Olen kuullut Lärkkullan kielikursseista tädiltäni. Olinkin kuullut paikasta paljon hyvää tänne tullessani!
Nyt opiskelen suomea viidettä kuukautta. Olen tyytyväinen – kurssi on hyvä, opettajat ovat erittäin päteviä, ruoka on loistavaa ja muut opiskelijat ovat mukavia. Täällä on kiva olla koska olen tutustunut moneen erilaiseen kulttuuriin ja sosiaaliset taitoni ovat kehittyneet edelleen. Asiat on järjestetty hyvin ja kaikki toimii kunnolla täällä.
